Molly Pomerance
I want my work both to surprise the viewer and make him happy. The first impression should be one of delight; and the second of curiosity. I use a lot of detail in my paintings and it helps to create a mood.
Brilliant color and strong pattern are paramount in my work. Pastel shades simply don’t do what I want. For me color should be bold and pure, enhancing life.
I want my art to grab and hold you; I hope it will be hard for you to look away.
