THE VAGABOND QUEEN by Edward Barnes

Suitable for children in grades two through five.
"The Vagabond Queen" tells the story of a brave queen who disguises herself as a vagabond and after many adventures, rescues her husband the king who has been kidnapped and taken to a foreign country. Soprano Amanda Boyd of Chatham plays the role of the queen and all other characters in the story. She will be accompanied on piano by Uel Wade. Ms Boyd and Mr. Wade will also talk to the children about opera and the story of "The Vagabond Queen."
